Fowl Language: Winging It is the latest collection of comics by Fowl Language creator Brian Gordon, the author of Fowl Language: Welcome to Parenting and The Struggle is Real. It chronicles the daily lives of an ordinary dad with two young children who at times seem determined to drive him insane.

The book is broken into sections with topics like sleep (how everybody needs it and nobody is getting it), siblings, school and extracurricular activities, and the sections are introduced by short essays which are as funny as the comics themselves. There is a little bit of actual foul language in this book, so be warned. This shouldn't be an issue since younger readers probably wouldn't really appreciate the humour anyway.

Fowl Language will be relatable to most parents, and might help you through a long day of sibling squabbles or arguments about peas. If you enjoy it, you might also like Herding Cats by Sara Anderson.

Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary copy of this book by Andrews McMeel Publishing, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.
