There's the saying "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".
It has been 3 years since I've been in Perth, and despite the criticism of how dull and depressing Perth is, there are parts of Perth which are filled with the most beautiful people and eateries.

Four Seas BBQ & Takeaway is the a petite Asian Chinese restaurant, which is nestled in between a TAB centre and a Club X adult shop right along Barrack St in Perth City. This restaurant is open from 11.00am to 8.30pm, 7 days a week.

What makes this restaurant special, is not only that it has the greatest Chinese flavours you will find in the city, but the service and atmosphere is perhaps one of the best in the CBD area. I enjoy coming to this restaurant and particularly enjoy the service.

Obviously, being part of the CBD it's only natural that the restaurant gets busy during lunch, but when it gets quieter during the afternoon, I enjoy sitting in this restaurant and working on my iPad because the atmosphere of the restaurant is so much more pleasant and peaceful than the alfresco areas around town.

I would like to share a few of my personal favourites from this restaurant and a few photos of what they have to offer:

Personally, I think this restaurant is more convenient and less crowded than the restaurants in Northbridge area. It's also one of the few restaurants that is open till 8.30pm in the CBD area - those staying in hotels nearby or finishing a late shift after the sun sets will definitely find this convenient. This is also suitable for those office workers on a tight lunch break hour, uni students who want cheap and good food, and of course individuals, willing to try out Chinese cuisine.

They also offer a combo specials, where you get to choose 5 dishes that comes with a serve of rice/ noodles [this is similar to the ones you get in food courts for $9-12 dollars for a plate kind of deal]. The combo special is the best deal in town because the amount you pay includes a can drink or bottle of water, all for less than $10! (Remember, the food court deals do not include any drink, you have to pay another $2-3 dollars extra for your can of drink).

We all have different tastes in food, but if you're not willing to be adventurous with food, you will never know what treasures you might be able to find in the future! Of course, don't forget to try using chopsticks during your meals. It's part of the fun.
