Four Ate Five Cafe

Home > Sydney > Cafes
Published October 13th 2010
On a Sunday morning at number 485 Crown st Surry Hills, the cleverly named Four Ate Five cafe is bustling with customers. The wait for a seat is well worth it, however, with good value, a great atmosphere and friendly staff in this small trendy cafe.

The french toast, filled with banana, and served with maple syrup, mascarpone and fruit is well worth a try. As are the burgers and kumera chips with aioli. They also serve pulled pork sandwiches, roast beef and great salads. They make good coffee and have a wide variety of drinks, including organic soft drinks and fresh juice. I tried a delicious chai latte tea with cream and honey.

The atmosphere is refreshing and laid-back, a great spot for a relaxed meal or coffee with friends.

Visiting Surry Hills is an adventure in itself with very uniquely dressed people adorning the streets giving the place an eclectic style. After visiting four ate five, try checking out some of the opshops close by.
