Food trucks have been bringing loads of good eats to the streets of Melbourne. This mobile eatery phenomenon has also captured the attention of residents in Geelong as well as the City of Greater Geelong. The growing popularity has food trucks returning to Central Geelong. Held on the 1st Friday of each month (except January when it is held on the 2nd Friday), Food Truck Friday will be located in Little Malop Central between Moorabool and Yarra Stations.
You can enjoy a wide range of tasty feed from Sushi Fun, Roamn Pizza, GrumbleTumms, Cali.Ko, Mojo Mamma, White Guy Cooks Thai, Lil Nom Noms, Mr Burger, The Meatball Company, Snaggas Healthy Sausages, Hoy Pinoy and Round the Way Bagels. The event will feature 10 food trucks each time, accompanied by dining spaces and entertainment during lunch from 11am to 2.30pm. GrumbleTumms - For an adventurous lunch, grab a bite of Aussie bush tucker from Grumble Tumms. These folks serve up crocodile, emu, kangaroo and Bushmans beef pies, burgers with crocodile and kangaroo patties, crocodile spring rolls and vegetable pasties with Aussie bush herbs.
Round the Way Bagels - Ryan Slater and Peter Marios from Ballarat serve up toasted bagel burgers and deli style bagels filled with a fresh selection of local produce that have captured the tummies of diners all over Melbourne.
Snaggas Healthy Sausages - The van serves up delicious sausage in fresh baked rolls to customers like Scotty Cam from The Block and fans all over Melbourne. Snagga's Healthy Sausage takes the humble sausage to the next taste level in Australia with it use of premium cuts of meat and ingredients like pine nut, sun dried tomato, rice vermicelli and bacon.
Mojo Mama - Enjoy twice cooked pork belly, sweet corn ice cream and gourmet tacos packed with the fresh and zesty flavours of Mexico accompanied by imported beer and house-made drinks. Mexican street food will never be the same.
The Meatball Company - Diners can't seems to get enough of their delicious meat balls at the Luna Night Market at Queen Victoria Market and the Dandenong Market. It might not be very different in Geelong when The Meatball Company serve up their beef & mozza balls made from ground New York Strip and chicken balls using fine chicken maryland and pancetta.
