K'gari is an extremely beautiful island, home of forests growing on sand and of the purest population of dingoes. You find yourself immersed in the nature and the wilderness of the island. But civilization is never far away! On the island, there are five settlements where you can stock up with food, grocery, fuel and different sorts of supplies.
Fraser Island is a World-Heritage listed island that recently had been renamed with the Indigenous name K'gari in the Butchulla language.
K'gari is an amazing island to explore with many beautiful and unique natural sites. You can stay on the island for one day but to have the full experience, you may need to spend
a few days on the island.

You can reserve your camping site, book in one of the resorts or rent a private house. You may pack all the necessary supplies but if you don't have room for all the food items or if you need something, there are places on the island where you can get what you need.
Fraser Island has some small settlements where you can find supplies necessary for your stay on K'gari. On the island, you can find all the necessary supplies including fuel, food, gas, fishing gear and souvenirs.
There are five main areas where supplies are available: Eurong, Happy Valley, Cathedral on Fraser, Orchid Beach and Kingfisher Bay.
Eurong.
Eurong is located on the eastern side of the island. It has a general store, a bottle shop, a bakery, a bar and a restaurant.
The General Store at Eurong has all the essentials. The General Store covers all the supplies you may need, from groceries, meat, fruit and vegetable. There are also resort clothes, hats, sunscreens, maps, fuel, ice and gas.
The shop also stocks fishing gear, like hook lines and sinkers. It also has camping supplies, beer, wine and spirits.

has freshly made bread every day, flavoursome pies, sausage rolls and many sweet pastries including croissants, bee stings, apple turnovers and many more.
The bakery has also a great selection of hot and cold drinks. The barista makes sure to prepare your expresso for your caffeine fix.

is the restaurant in Eurong Resort. It is the place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Relax with a cold beer or a hot drink. The bar prepares island-inspired cocktails.
The restaurant offers all the favourites from burgers, fresh salads and a selection of pizzas. There is also a special menu for kids.

Happy Valley is located on the eastern side of K'gari, about 20 km north of Eurong.
Happy Valley has a general store and a cafe.
The Satinay Bar and Bistro is located in a timber building with a long deck. Visitors can sit inside our outside. There are takeaway meals and coffee.
The
General Store has fuel, groceries and basic supplies. The shop stocks from souvenirs to 4 WD equipment. The licensed general store is open daily for essential groceries, such as milk, bread, butter, fruit and vegetables, diesel and unleaded fuel, water and air, snacks, ice cream, confectionery, alcohol and drinks, ice, bait and fishing gear, tasty snacks, food and great coffee, 4WD equipment (such as oil and snatch straps), souvenirs, postcards and stamps.

Cathedral on Fraser is a great place to stay on Fraser Island. There is a campground fully dingo-fenced, so you can relax and enjoy a true Fraser Island camping experience knowing the kids are safe. The camping site has cabins, powered and unpowered campsites.
The camping site is sheltered behind the dunes on the beach, just 6 km north of the iconic Maheno Shipwreck.
Cathedral on Fraser is a strategic location on K'gari to explore Eli Creek, Champagne Pools and crystal clear Lake McKenzie.
The
General Store at Cathedral on Fraser is well-stocked with groceries, fuel and gas bottle refills, 4WD equipment, ice, camping gear, bait and tackle, pharmaceutical products. WiFi is available.
The
coffee shop has a kitchen that prepares hot food and coffee. This is convenient, especially if you are in the area and would like to eat or drink something. Grab your burger and your coffee and set off to adventure.

Orchid Beach is located on the eastern side of the K'gari island. It is a popular holiday destination on the northern part of the heritage-listed island. There are a number of different private houses to choose as accommodation. Nearby, there are also camping sites, such as Beach camping zone 8, Waddy Point Campground and Waddy Point Beachfront Campground.
Orchid Beach is just north of Waddy Point, which has great fishing spots. The scenery is fantastic, the beach and the blue ocean.
Once you are at Orchid Beach, keep travelling north and you can visit Ocean Lake, a great natural attraction famous for its birds. Nearby the lake there is an easy walk through cypress, banksia and melaleuca woodland.
The Orchid Beach Trading Post & Driftwood Bar is a family run cafe/bar/general store. You can have coffee, cold drinks, the coldest beer on tap and hot food.
The general store has all kinds of groceries, confectionery, items for camping, 4WD and fishing gear. Fuel and mail services are also available at Orchid Beach.

Kingfisher settlement is on the western side of K'gari island. Kingfisher resort is the premier eco accommodation on the island. It offers a variety of accommodation styles, including hotel rooms, villas and a suite of executive houses.
On the resort you can relax with a cocktail in the pool, engaging in nature-based activities such as bushwalking, swimming, fishing and enjoying the spectacular sunsets on the west side of the island.
Kingfisher resort has three restaurants and four bars. There is also a general store with many different supplies. You can find groceries, alcohol, frozen and refrigerated food. The shop also has fishing, 4WD and camping gear. In the settlement, you can find fuel, gas, mail service and telephone.
Kingfisher settlement is served by the barge services. From the barge, you can drive to the Kingfisher resort and from there explore all the unique marvels of the fantastic World Heritage-listed island.
