Event:
Kids who learn to cook are hungrier for healthier choices
Food Revolution Day is a loud SHOUT OUT about the impact of food on our health and happiness. All around the world, people will be gathering to help children learn of the simple joys of cooking good food.

Jamie Oliver - chef, food educator and agent for change in the lives of many young people - is passionate about getting kids excited about cooking at a young age.

Jamie says "Cooking is, without a doubt, one of the most important skills a person can ever learn and share. Once someone has that knowledge, that's it - they're set for life."

Food Revolution Day is a campaign by the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation in the UK and USA, and The Good Foundation in Australia. Seventy-four countries have taken part and over 900 ambassadors are championing the cause worldwide. The third global Food Revolution Day will be celebrated on Friday 16th May 2014. It specifically aims to educate children about food in a fun way. Join in and equip children and future generations with the skills they need to live healthier lives.
