Food Fighter

Food Fighter is an independent documentary featuring OzHarvest Founder and CEO Ronni Kahn and her battle against the global scandal of food waste. It was filmed over two years and across four continents.

Ronni Kahn began rescuing quality excess food that would otherwise go to waste and helps to feed Australian in need across the country. She's won the 2013 United Nations Environment Day Award for Community and the 2010 Local Hero of the Year, Australia Day Award.

In the documentary, she rubs shoulders with food icon Jamie Oliver and raises the issue of accountability of governments and big businesses with this global issue.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Food Fighter Director Dan Goldberg, who is the Head of Factual at Mint Pictures. Mint Pictures is an Australian award-winning media company based in Sydney.

The screening takes place at the Village Cinemas at 194-200 Ryrie Street, Geelong from 3PM - 5.30PM
