I'm like a piece of bread. Reliable, tasty and a little naughty. Check out my blog - www.brigquest.com

This place is worth getting fat over
I couldn't possibly recommend a buffet more, than I recommend Food Fantasy. It truly is a fantasy, of fantastic foods. I'm a big foodie and have gone to a few buffets in my time, but I'm yet to find a buffet on the Gold Coast, that's got as good quality foods, at such a reasonable price.

You may think $29.90pp for breakfast and lunch, is a bit steep, but when you work out what you are getting for that price, you begin to realise it's justified. For example, for lunch it includes drinks (non-alcoholic ones), a salad bar, soup, roast vegetables and meat, a variety of hot food, a selection of breads and cheeses and a mouth-watering array of dessert.

As expected dinner is a bit more expensive, at $ $44.90pp during Sunday and Thursday and $54.90pp Friday and Saturday, due to the seafood buffet. Personally I prefer the lunch session, but that is largely because I don't like seafood, so I don't get my money's on Friday or Saturday night. If you are a big seafood lover, than this is just like the name suggests, a food fantasy.

The atmosphere is lively and energetic. The interior is beautiful, with some tables looking over the amazing resort style pool. You are greeted with a stunning fish tank, as you wait to be seated.

I have gone to Food Fantasy many times and each experience has been great. Good service (because you are servicing yourself, none of this waiting 45 minutes for your meal and then feeling the pressure to tip) and awesome food.

The only let down is that it is very popular, so sometimes the line up to enter the restaurant can be a while, but it's worth it.

Also a handy tip, if you become a member at the Casino (it's free), you save money on the total bill!

Went there for the first time. Great place snd plenty of choices. A little bit disappointed about the seafood. Found the prawns didn't seen to be fresh tasted a little off. Moreton bay bugs were half empty in shells when they came out and dry. Not enough sauce to taste. Overall pretty good. Hopefully next time these might be a little bit better. Went to celebrate our sons birthday. Thank you. Karem.W.
