2. BIB & TUCKER WINTER SERIES - FIRE & SMOKE The winter cold is coming and so are the team at Bib & Tucker with the 2018 Winter Series! The first one of the season starting off their six-event series is Fire & Smoke.
Using only their wood-fired oven and a charcoal pit, they will be going back to nature to create a 5 course smoky, winter warming feast, with optional paired wines.
This will be held on 15th May at 6.00 pm for a 6.30 pm start, and the cost will be $80 plus $25 for paired wines.

3. CHENIN AND CHEESE Wine and Cheese is often referred to as a match made in heaven!
Anja Lewis of Canny Grapes and Tanya Barretto from The Cheese Maker are hosting a unique, fun, wine and cheese tasting class. Here you will learn about the world of Chenin Blanc, and there is indeed a Chenin for each occasion.
You will be able to taste six selected wines including bubbles, dry, semi-dry and a sweet dessert style.
With Chenin having such variety of flavour profiles its a perfect match to a variety of cheeses, not just any cheese, but artisan, handmade cheese.
You will be able to taste, as well as learn how to make cheeses such as Haloumi, Persian Fetta, Bucheron and your very own Mascarpone.
Cheese and Wine lovers - here is a unique opportunity for a moreish evening which should not be missed!
The cost is $55 per person including the six wines, plus a special cheese board, and bookings are essential with limited tickets being sold.

4. TEAS TARTS & TISANES
If you are trying to eat healthy, but feel you are missing out on treats, then you may want to bring along some friends and put on your best afternoon gear and attend a special Teas Tarts and Tissanes afternoon tea at Natureco, 1053 Albany Highway, St James.
This will be held on 26th May at 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, and not only will you get to indulge in and be taught how to make a healthy afternoon tea and snacks, but you will also learn how to use tea in your life which in turn can create inner peace. You will also be able to share in the secrets of ancient tisanes for calming yourself and for rejuvenating your nervous system!
Some of the recipes that will be shown include both savoury and sweets and include gluten-free scones with cashew nut cream and chia jam, turmeric colada, dairy free chocolate bark, pick me up ginseng shots and much more.

5. JOHN KOSOVICH WINES DINNER
These dinners are on again!
Join the folks at Duende and this first dinner will feature John Kosovich wines, which were established in 1922. Their wines reflect the unique qualities of the Swan Valley and Pemberton regions.
For this function, Arch Kosovich will present six of their quality wines that will accompany a delicious 3-course dinner prepared for you by talented Head Chef, Warren Farrugia.
The dinner will be held on Wednesday 18th April, 2018 at Duende (a Spanish Tapas Bar), 662 Newcastle Street, Leederville.

6. FROMAGE WALKING TOUR
If you like cheese, then this walking tour is built for you!
Lasting approximately 3 hours, it will be in the city of Perth and cost $99 per person. These events are on Saturday nights.
You will explore the tastiest side of Perth with this tour, which culminates with a private cheese education class inside the old R & I bank vault, which is at the new home of cheese in Perth, Fromage Artisans.
It will start in the Northbridge Piazza and visit Kakulas Brothers, where you will be able to taste their cheeses and antipasto.
The second place you will be is The Flour Factory, where guests will be treated to cheese and charcuterie boards in the warm comfort of a historic 100-year-old flour mill.
The tour concludes at Fromage Artisans on St Georges Terrace, where you will be seated at a private dining table located behind the vault doors which once contained the wealth of the R & I Bank.

7. 2018 KSP LITERARY DINNERS
This is a recurring event at KSP Writers' Centre, 11 Old York Road, Greenmount, and it will be on 15th May from 6.00 pm.
It will be in the Perth Hills and will be an intimate candle-lit dinner at a character literary restaurant venue, the heritage-listed KSP Writers' Centre. There will be a scrumptious three-course meal with performances by a special guest author.
Dinners are generally set up in a long table format, but separate tables can be arranged if you give them at least a week's notice. Book sales and signings are available following the dessert course.
This month's event will be Kaaron Warren and will have an 80's retro party theme and cuisine, so why not dress up for the 80's!
