King William Road is acknowledged as one of the premium shopping strips in Adelaide, attracting fashion, food and wine lovers from miles around. During the month of May the traders along King William Road have banded together to bring you some of the best culinary and dining experiences in South Australia at the inaugural Food and Wine Sessions on KWR.

If you work south of Adelaide I can fully recommend a long lunch with friends at Melt . You'll get a free bottle of Shaw & Smith wine, (your choice of red or white) over a long lunch when you dine with four or more friends, and order from the tasting menu. (Any weekday lunch in May).

Start your weekend with a Friday night cellar door wine tasting experience at Fox Gordon's cellar door on King William Road, or at a Prosecco tasting at Bottega Rotolo. Follow it up with a visit to Thailand Thai where you can enjoy the taste of Wirra Wirra wines (red or white) on Friday and Saturday nights before you dine.

Don't let your kids get in the way of eating out - children love the excitement and when you bring the family, the kids get to eat a feast of pizza and pasta for free at Farina 00 food and pasta bar. There's a newly installed pizza oven and a choice of three varieties of pizza or pasta. This special offer applies Sunday to Thursday between 5pm and 6:30pm only, and reservations are required.

On Mother's day everyone wants to treat Mum to the best Mother's Day lunch in Adelaide . One of our choices is the exclusive Mother's Day High Tea at By Blackbird on King William Road, serving their very own delicious pastries and treats.

Do you want to give your home cooking skills a boost? Transport yourself to Italy at a special cooking demonstration with Godi La Vita head chef Federico: he'll teach you the Italian secret to great food, made with love. Only on Wednesdays in May.

Expect more than a cheeky few to roll up to the Gin Masterclass at A Cheeky Few each Saturday in May. Learn the finer details of gin, what makes a great gin, and maybe set aside an afternoon to practice your new found skills.

There's always a crowd at Mulots Patisserie stand at the Adelaide French Festival , because their pasties are simply divine. On Monday May 28 you can learn to make your French favourites - macaroons and croissants with Andre from Mulots Patisserie. You will never need to ask people for dinner again, they will just turn up.

Make the most of May and enjoy South Australian produce at its absolute best at the . Get in early for the food specials, book your place in a masterclass, and winter will be looking a whole lot better. Get all the gossip on these and other special offers on the King William Road website and the Facebook event .
