Promising to play three hour shows, this epic gig will be one not to miss, so you'll want to snap up tickets as soon as they're available to you.
Having seen them play back in 2005 at Rock-it festival in Perth, I'll be sure not to miss this one. The Foo Fighters absolutely ROCKED Perth's Arena Joondalup during that festival, playing all their greatest hits in one of the best shows I've witnessed.
And this year, the six time grammy award winning band will be back with their first ever Australian stadium tour. They should be playing at the biggest venues we have, because no doubt if you are alive and breathing, you'll want to be at this show.
Their explosive seventh album 'Wasting Light' has been soaring up the charts, so expect to hear some of their new tracks like 'Rope' as they rip up stadiums around the country.
And of course, this concert wouldn't be completely epic without outstanding rocking support.
Tenacious D will be along for the ride, which is the band of Jack Black and Kyle Glass who had a hit with 'Tribute' way back in 2002. They'll shred up the stage, along with more bands yet to be announced.
Fun fact - Dave Grohl appeared in the Tenacious D 2002 'Tribute' film clip as the Devil. He also appeared as the Devil in the Tenacious D film 'Pick of Destiny' in 2006.
The Foo Fighters are coming for you, and it's going to be one hell of a gig you won't wanna miss.
Tickets go on sale Monday, July 18 and can be purchased through the links on the Foo Fighters Website.
This looks like it will be one epic journey of Rock. Love the Foo Fighters and the fact that Tenacious D will be along for the tour only emphasis just how amazing an experience it would be to go see them. Must buy tickets. Thank you for the review.
I agree! I have actually heard of many people just attending to see Tenacious D which shows what a great support act they really are. I think both acts will be pretty amazing. Must get my air guitar ready. Bek.
