Or just feel like cheering yourself up to chase the blues away? in Birchgrove is a great little gallery shop that you may be able to find the items you're looking for. To me, just simply browse through the Gallery to appreciate the creative collection is a great delight.

The Gallery's shop windows are always delicately decorated, with changing items on regular basis to catch your eye and inject freshness. They are pleasing and enticing. The Gallery is filled with a wide array of unique collections – aboriginal art, contemporary wearable art, paintings, ceramics, artglass and vintage items and more. Inside the shop you'll find a hallway with paintings hung on the wall. Next to the hallway is the second small room displaying some quirky items and objects. All these handpicked treasures just simply enliven the Gallery, offering an uplifting atmosphere and enchanting mood. If you are a first-time patron, you just need to stay disciplined so as to resist the temptation.

I love this gallery shop as it reflects the shop owner's creative endeavour to carry unique items and arts from Australia and overseas. On a few occasions, I was so thrilled to find out a few pairs of beautifully-designed ear rings for my friends, and spoiled myself with a hand-made scarf and a lovely necklace from emerging artists. I received compliments from my friends, thinking that I have an eye for beauty! Honestly, the greatest credit should be attributed to the Gallery as it's the place where I bought the items from.

Interestingly, the Gallery also offers other services such as jewellery mending and redesign. If you would like to give a fresh look on your jewellery, perhaps you can pop in or give the shop a call to see what they can do for you.

Situated closely to the Gallery is Birchgrove Oval , why not take a leisurely stroll through the Oval to end your day. It is within a short walk from the shop. Isn't it handy to be able to enjoy a combination of indoor and outdoor activities in a weekend trip?
