30 days of blooms, food, entertainment & retro
Floriade is back for 2018! This year they will be celebrating the theme "Pop Culture", with retro designs in the flower beds and '80's themes for Nightfest. Take a walk around the flower displays and appreciate the colour, designs and overall effect of a million bulbs out in bloom! For a birds-eye view of the designs, take a ride up the Ferris Wheel and look over the entire event. Whilst up there, look out for Where's Wally and 80's icons represented the flower beds.

Check out the program (see link below) to see what's on the day you visit - with live music, jazz with Emma Pask, workshops, belly dancing, yoga, tap dancing, KidzKlub activities, children's entertainment (make sure the kids check out Dirt Girl on 6th October!) and more. Take your appetite, as there will also be a wide range of food vendors for coffee and lunch overlooking the displays. Also get ready to go shopping, with 60 market stalls to browse around the parkland.

Floriade has free entry and is open between 9:30am - 5:30pm daily.

Also, see the details for Nightfest (26th - 30th September) and Dogs Day Out (14th October). See the Floriade website and Facebook for details.
