With summer being less than a week away, it's time to bask in the sunshine with a cocktail (or few)! And what better way to do this than to visit a spacious rooftop bar that is decked out with their open spaces, refreshing cocktails, and mouthwatering dishes!
Relaunching last Friday is one of the cutest little rooftop bars that is currently gracing the Adelaide bar scene. Tucked above the Peel Street carnivore delight Kaffana, Florence Rooftop has been designed to offer Adelaidians with a slice of Europe, just as their name suggests.
Walk up the staircase within the Kaffana establishment and you'll find a nook, the space of which balances a social hub with a touch of intimacy. With their spacious booths, communal long tables, timber flooring, and exposed stone walls, customers can expect to enjoy a view of our beautiful little city, whilst dancing to live music and sipping on tantalizing cocktails that are bound to inject a sense of fun, fabulousness, and fierceness to your nights out at Florence Rooftop.

As part of the relaunch celebrations, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a sampler of the cocktails and food on offer. Having always wanted to visit Kaffana, I was more than pleasantly surprised to try the popular meats that are cooked with a Serbian twist. Guests were treated to a gracious platter of meats and cheese, along with Arancini balls that were oozing with pesto and mozzarella goodness within.

We were also able to enjoy the more traditional forms of cooked meat, such as chargrilled kebabs and Ćevapi, which presented with a smoky and crispy texture, with tender meat within. It's safe to say that multiple platters were warranted, as everyone polished the meats off in no time!

Seeing how the cluster of bars saturating Gilbert Place, Peel Street, and Leigh Streets attract a diverse range of customers, it won't be a surprise if you find yourselves making your way to what is undoubtedly going to become one of the hottest spots in town, particularly for after-work drinks, catch-ups with friends, or even celebrating special occasions.
