Floatfest 2019 is coming! Floatfest is an event proudly instigated by the members of the Murraylands Regional Tourist Association, to encourage you to visit their wonderful region and experience life by the river. Floatfest is a family-focused event attempting to break a world record to gather the largest number of floating kayaks and canoes by 'Paddling into the Record Books'.
Everyone is encouraged to join them in their canoes and kayaks on the Murray River at two locations in 2019!
The first pop up event for Floatfest in 2019 is at the SA Wooden Boat Festival on Sunday the 28th of April 2019 at Bristow Smith Reserve, Goolwa.
Come down on the day and join in the fun. There'll be a pop-up count at 3.30 pm and some canoe come and try workshops with the team from Canoe the Coorong from 10 am. Participation is by gold coin donation which goes to support Floatfest's charity partner, Can:Do 4 Kids.
