The Gold Coast's Air Factory Trampoline Park is 'paying it forward' with the launch of a new charity fundraising initiative. The Air Community program allows charities to sell tickets to the Air Factory Trampoline Park or hire out the whole venue by the hour in a profit-sharing scheme with the objective to raise much needed funds for charitable causes.

The Air Community program has been taken up by Make-A-Wish Australia to hold its 'Flip for a Charity' day at the Air Factory Trampoline Park, 5 Sunlight Drive, Burleigh Waters on Saturday 20 June, 2015 from 9.00am until 9.00pm.

Normal entry prices apply and range from $10 (off-peak) to $16 per person, per hour plus $2 for grip socks that are required for safe bouncing. Lower prices per person are available for groups of fun seekers. As part of the Air Community's Flip for a Charity day, $2 per person taking part will be donated to Make-A-Wish Australia to help grant those special wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.



Sweet little nine-years-young Kirra Murphy recently had her wish granted - she chose to have her very own playground centre at home to enjoy with her family and friends. The other day she went along to try out the Air Factory and reckons it's an awesome place to visit because it's like a big playground where you feel like you're flying.

The Air Factory Trampoline Park's Air Community and Flip for a Charity initiatives are all about 'locals helping locals' in a fun and interactive way. The Air Factory is a locally owned business giving meaningful support to the most amazing local and national kids' charities.

Having raised their own families in the area the business partners are pleased to have the opportunity to 'pay it forward' to the community they call home and use Air Factory's great success to help out. The management team is keen to create more partnerships with local community groups and charities and to put the 'fun' back in fundraising. They want to help deliver a much needed boost to worthwhile support programs on the Gold Coast.

A recent trial of the Air Community program with Cystic Fibrosis Queensland had a great result where over $1800 was raised. Not only did the participants have a ball but trampolining benefits sufferers by helping drain fluid from around the lungs and alleviate some Cystic Fibrosis symptoms.

The Air Factory Trampoline Park is Queensland's largest indoor trampoline park and features 140 trampolines across numerous activity zones. You can have fun playing dodge ball, air basketball and Bubble (zorb ball) soccer. Or, perhaps, you'd like to have a go at the monster air bag to test out some skills you never realised you had or, maybe, show your style in the unique pro zone on the quad size Olympic trampolines or maybe you're up to taking part in the tumble track and wall running. If it's got something to do with a trampoline then it's at the Air Factory.



For those with more time the Air Factory also offers fitness classes for adults. If you're looking to ditch the gym for a high intensity, low impact exercise regime where you laugh more than grunt then this is for you.

Serious trampoliners are also catered for with tumbling and wall running classes for kids wanting to hone their trampolining skills.

You could also join the SlackLining program called AIRLine currently being held for those keen to learn the art of balancing, flipping and practising yoga on a tightrope-style chord and who, might I ask, isn't keen to learn all those skills?
