Flight Experience Simulator

Home > Brisbane > Fun Things To Do
Published April 26th 2011

If you would like the opportunity to fly a Boeing 737, you have two choices. You can take flying classes, spending hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars practicing in smaller vehicles before you finally earn the privilege, or you could make a booking at Flight Experience.

Flight Experience is a simulation flying activity that was developed by three pilots and aviation enthusiasts. The business has a presence in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, as well as other cities around the world.

Customers can experience the thrill of flight with a session in the fixed-base simulation device. The device is modelled on the Boeing 737-800, so the activity is like flying a jet airliner, only a lot safer. The product was designed for entertainment and entry level training and is used by thrill seekers and commercial pilots alike.

Participants will receive a briefing from a personal instructor before getting strapped in to the captain's seat, where the controls and equipment are the same as in a normal airplane. Once Air Traffic Control has cleared you, you will take off, maintain altitude and air speed while in the sky and land at an airport of your choice. Just like a real pilot, you will need to remain calm and make the most of your instruction to ensure a safe and smooth ride.

Rides can last from 30 to 90 minutes and prices start at $175.00 for a 30 minute Scenic Flight. You can also purchase Flying Club Membership to earn a licence and fly the simulator solo. To make a booking, visit the website.
