What does Flight Centre and bicycles have in common? The
Cycle Epic of course, which will be taking place during the 15th and 16th of September.
First launched in 2002, the biking challenge has gained momentum and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The 'Epic Weekend', as it is known, caters for all bike riders, whether beginner or professional. There are six races to compete in, including the
Pursuit, the
Chaser, the
Minor Epic, the
Mini Epic, the
Family Fun Ride (new this year), and of course, the
Epic.
And even if you don't consider yourself a biking enthusiast, there is plenty to see and do on the Epic Weekend, including: live music, food and beverage stalls, kids rides, pony rides, even a tennis court and two swimming pools to check out, plus heaps more. 'There's something for everyone – make it an Epic Weekend out.'
Event organisers are expecting heaps of people to turn up to this year's Cycle Epic, with estimates at over 1500 riders, not to mention Flight Centre boss Graham Turner, who will once again be a competitor at the Epic. So why not 'join the ranks' and compete in the Cycle Epic? Registration is open
online till the 10th of September, so don't wait until it's too late to plan on attending this great event.
