This year, the Flickerfest Short Film Festival is celebrating their 21st year. The competition has had over 2200 amazing Australian and International entries, so the top films selected by the judging panel are sure to be an amazing journey through a vast range of styles, genres, storylines, images, tears and laughter.
The Flickerfest Short Film Festival is on at the Bondi Pavillion until the 15th of January, which is incidentally, the awards night and closing party. Before that evening are days and nights of short films; International, Australian, Comedy and Flickerkids.
The day sessions are held upstairs in the Pavillion and the evening sessions are viewed from the open air amphitheatre with the amazing Bondi Beach as the backdrop for evening screenings.
Take the time to view the programme. Take more time to go to at least one screening and view some of the amazing short films made by the talented film makers that make this an Academy Accredited Film Festival as well as BAFTA recognised.
