Not quite Vegetarian? Maybe you are a Flexitarian.
Sydney's very first
Flexitarian Market is about to sprout right next to that famous water spout in Kings Cross, the El Alamein fountain in Macleay St, just a 2 minute walk from Kings Cross Train Station.
What is Flexitarian you ask? If you are environmentally friendly and health-conscious, but can't bring yourself to give up meat entirely - you are a Flexitarian. Or, if like me, you aren't vegetarian or vegan but you don't eat a lot of meat either, that pretty much sums up the Flexitarian diet.
The benefits of cutting out meat in favour of a plant-based diet, even a few days a week, are enormous. Not just for your health, but for the climate too so, why not come down and try some of the delicious Flexitarian options you will find here every Sunday, including these cheesy delights from
Halloumilicious .
The
Flexitarian Markets will be held
every Sunday from
9am -2pm from Sunday October 13 and here you will find everything from vegan, vegetarian and eco-friendly food and products including:
Gourmet flexitarian hot food
Fruit and Vegetables
French pastries
Vegan protein and energy food, including hemp products
Turkish Gozleme
Organic, vegan chocolate
Bamboo products
Potted plants and flowers
You don't need to travel to Paris for great pastries, try these beauties at the on Sundays at
Pastries de Paris
La Loco Cooks will also be there with their crazy good food.
This market is
dog-friendly and is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or lunch with your friends and family, including the four-legged ones.
