With restrictions easing, dining out is back and it's never been a better time to book in at a participating Flavours of Ipswich restaurant! From April 7 to 24, you are invited to go on an 'ipswichilicious' foodie adventure with over 30 exclusive fixed price lunches and dinners at some of Ipswich's favourite restaurants.Prices start from $25 for two-course lunches and $35 for three-course dinners and there are over 20 dining partners to choose from! Highlights include the award-winning Bakehouse Steakhouse, The Prince Alfred Hotel, The Cottage Restaurant, Brothers Leagues Club and Club Services Ipswich, and much more!Below is just a sample of the specially curated menus you can enjoy as part of Flavours of Ipswich:
Burger High Tea at Ruby Chews : For $35, enjoy a three-tier tower of chicken tenders and wings, Ruby classic and chicken sliders with fries and onion rings and dessert of your choice of sundaes – there is caramel, chocolate fudge, Nutella and more to choose from.There's also a veggie option including crumbed mushrooms covered in cheesy sauce!
Tuscan Beef Brisket at The Boulevard You can opt for two courses for $25 or three for $35 - with the Tuscan Beef Brisket (gluten-free and dairy-free) as the absolute show-stopper main course!The Flavours of Ipswich menu also includes an entrée of lightly toasted sourdough topped with maple-bacon, confit garlic and melted aged cheddar, and a dessert of a chocolate brownie with vanilla bean ice cream, pistachio crumb and a warm chocolate sauce.
Surf and Turf at The Prince Alfred Hotel Enjoy a pretty spectacular menu of two courses ($25) or three courses ($35) at one of Ipswich's best-known venues!Start with smoked salmon Nicoise salad then enjoy the PA Classic Surf and Turf of smoked beef brisket and creamy garlic prawns with baby potatoes, cherry toms and battered onion rings.For dessert there's locally made Ungermann Brothers salted caramel, bacon and pecan ice cream snuggled up with Belgian style waffles and a mixed berry compote.
Indian Banquet at Indian Mehfil For Flavours of Ipswich, visitors can enjoy a $25 lunch banquet or a $35 dinner banquet. There are vegetarian options and most of the dishes are gluten-free.For lunch enjoy a chef's selection of appetisers and your choice of curry from the beautifully smoky Butter Chicken to Lamb Rogan Josh and vegetarian Dahl Tadka.Dinner includes the appetisers, a couple of different curries to choose from, including the fragrant Fish Methi Malai, and a special Indian dessert.
Nepalese Wok Noodles at Chai House Choose from a generous menu selection of mains and a choice of desserts from the cabinet for the $25 lunch during Flavours of Ipswich.The Nepalese Wok Noodles arrives at the table wafting terrific aromas and adorned with flash-fried prawns and a poached egg. Other options include the Katsu chicken burger, pesto chicken linguine, panko crumbed barramundi and a shredded chicken salad. For dessert, choose from an orange and almond muffin, chocolate brownie, bread and butter pudding, lemon tart or banoffee tart, each served with cream and/or ice cream.
Charcoal Kulfi at Essence of Indya For Flavours of Ipswich enjoy a two-course lunch with amuse-bouche, a choice of two starters and a choice of four mains; Butter Chicken, Lamb Madras, Kerala Beef Masala or Cottage Cheese and Creamy Fenugreek. All mains are served with naan bread and rice.Enjoy the same offering for dinner with the addition of the restaurant signature dessert - the delectable and fun charcoal kulfi.
Chilli Verde at Montezuma's Flavours of Ipswich you can choose two delicious courses at lunch for just $25 – entree and main or main and dessert. And three for dinner for $35, entree, main and dessert.The special Flavours menu includes six entrees and six mains and two desserts to choose from.For a Main, you can choose from the ever-popular nachos served with beef, chicken or beans, oven-grilled cheese, guacamole and sour cream; an enchilada with your choice of filling, rolled topped with cheese and served with Spanish rice and beans; or Chilli Verde, made using prime beef steak and green capsicum, served with jalapeno sauce and Spanish rice. Parmesan and Thyme Gnocchi at The Cottage Restaurant For Flavours, enjoy a two-course lunch with a choice of parmesan and thyme gnocchi with homemade Italian sausage, cherry tomatoes and basil; or smoked baby beetroot risotto with cheese and wild rocket.
