Flavours returns to Grattan Gardens in Prahran on Saturday 14 March, serving up a trip around the world for your taste buds all in the space of a day, as part of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival .

Situated in the heartland of one of Melbourne's culinary and cultural melting pots, hand-picked local restaurateurs will showcase flavours from every corner of the globe and a diverse line-up of cultural performances will treat you to a truly international experience, without even leaving the country.

Enjoy the veritable smorgasbord of mouth-watering and taste bud tantalising cuisines on offer from over 30 different food vendors and learn some insider secrets from local chefs at the cooking demonstration kitchen, including chefs from Mr Miyagi's and 40 Thieves & Co.

Flavours is a foodie's paradise and a festival favourite for families alike; with comedian Mia Stanford on hand to cajole some laughs and free workshops from the likes of The Space Dance and Arts Centre and Indigenous Hip Hop Projects , this year Flavours promises a feast for all of the senses.

Flavours is an increasingly popular annual event, so expect parking to be very limited. Save yourself the hassle and PT it – catch the 216, 219 or 220 bus or the number 72 Camberwell tram down Commercial Road, hop off at Prahran Market and it's just a short walk away down Izett Street, which adjoins Grattan Gardens. Or take the number 78 - 79 St Kilda / North Melbourne tram down Chapel Street, get off by Coles and walk down past Cato Street car park to Izett Street. You can also catch the train to Prahran, walk down Greville Street towards Chapel and into Grattan Street where you'll soon come upon the gardens.

Flavours is presented by the City of Stonnington and showcases some of Melbourne's best restaurants, cafes, chefs and food vendors from in and around the Prahran area. Don't miss out on a cultural and culinary feast at this March.
