The Flamin' Galah Official Home & Away Tour is a must experience, whether you are a fan or not of the iconic long-lasting Aussie drama Home & Away.

This amazing Tour takes you on a journey into the world of this immensely popular TV Series. You are able to gain insight, be connected to your favourite show as well as witness the beauty of Summer Bay and the breathtaking views of the Northern Beaches.

The Tour pick up point is at Circular Quay outside the Contemporary Arts Gallery (the main entrance on George St. The Rocks) and it drops you off at the picturesque Manly Beach.

Upon pick-up we were welcomed into a private air-conditioned coach and our lovely Tour Guide greeted us as our exciting outing into the world of Home and Away began...

It was tremendously thrilling and I could not help but feel keyed up to witness something that us viewers rarely get to experience.

On the way to Summer Bay we passed eye-catching scenery and both our Driver and Tour Guide were extremely informative and helpful in dotting out the points of interest sites.

Upon arrival to Summer Bay, I got a sudden feel of déjà vu. It was a surreal moment as my eyes wondered around the beauty, and what made this moment more magical was that some of the actors / actresses were filming (filming is not guaranteed on all tour days). This made me feel truly lucky and our Tour Guides were quick and helpful to give us inside tips.

We had a up close and personal experience with George Mason (Ash), Kyle Pryor (Dr. Nate) and new cast member James Stewart who were professional and happy to take a few snaps with us before going on their way to filming and we had the opportunity to witness this. We also got glimpses of Matt Little (VJ) who was filming.

We then proceeded on and experienced the golden sands between our toes as we walked across the famous Summer Bay Beach to Alf's Bait Shop, the Pier, Charlotte's Apartment and the Surf Shop, where we spent some time exploring these famous sites before we jumped back onto the coach to explore further more.

The drive back home was filled with surprises as we drove past Leah's, Brax and John and Marilyn's houses, with informative tips from our Tour Guides as well as insides of the Home and Away series that included very interesting facts, and we also got the chance to capture a 'once in a lifetime' photo opportunity on board!

The Tour certainly made us re-live some of our favourite scenes from the series while at the same time enjoying the Summer Bay lifestyle and stunning scenery throughout the Tour.

If you are not a huge fan, no need to worry, as this Tour has plenty of highlights for everyone to enjoy from the magic experience of leaving the city to escape and witness the true Sydney Australia, with breathtaking views of National Parks, coastal inlets and multi-million dollar homes.

The tour concludes at Manly Beach where you are welcomed to a golden sand beach, shopping, restaurants and bars and marina. Here you can catch a ferry back into town.
