Flamenco Son Fronteras presents The Flamenco Sin Fronteras Annual Student Recital. The performance will comnence this Sunday at Mrs Lee Choon Guan Theatre, Anglo-Chinese Junior College.



The highlight of this show is the special guest from Spain, Miguel Angel. Students of FSF will show off their skills after putting many hours of hard work in the last few months. Expect a solo dance, a duet, and a group performance.

Miguel Angel who first received training since he was 12, went to perform solo with the Ballet Nacional de Espana at age of16. He founded Companie Miguel Angel Espana Ballet in 1989. The group had toured successfully in Europe, Japan and America. He has worked with well-known choreographers like Jose Granero and Debbie Allen.

In 2011 he went back to perform with the National Ballet in Madrid. The dancer is recognised internationally due to his skills and friendly personality. Besides dancing and teaching, he is also a choreographer.



Tickets for category 1 and category 2 are sold respectively at $35 and $20 Tickets could be bought from Peatix .If you love Flamenco, this is an event not to be missed!



If you are a Flamenco enthusiast who wants to improve your techniques, learn from Miguel Angel who will also conduct Flamenco workshops from 5 to 11 December 2016.

A) Technique classes
5 - 9 December, 7.30pm - 8.30pm
This package is suitable for beginners. It is priced at $200 for all 5 classes.One-time class is priced at $45.

B) Cancion de Bulerias
5, 7 December, 8.30pm - 10.00pm; 11 December 3.15pm - 4.45pm
This package targeted from beginner to higher levels costs $225. Alternatively, a student could sign up at $80 per class.

C) Solea por Bulerias
6, 8 December, 8.30pm - 10.30pm; 10 December 2.00pm - 4.00pm
This package targeting intermediate level costs $300. It is only $110 per class.

D) Classical Spanish dance
9 December, 8.30pm - 10.30pm; 10 December, 4.15pm - 6.15pm; 11 December, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
This upper beginner package is sold at $300 or $110 per class.
