After a couple of successful years in South Brisbane, the Five Sisters Art House Cafe has produced a progeny Five Sisters Espresso Bar. Unlike the trendy location of their cafe, the espresso bar is tucked away in the suburb of Tarragindi; nestled between a fashion boutique and beauty salon.

While not the most glamorous location, opposite a petrol station just off the M3, Five Sisters Espresso Bar has been quietly gaining a loyal following. It's only a matter of time before this southside secret is out.

The espresso bar offers the same friendly service, great coffee, and fabulous food as the South Brisbane cafe. Only the best will do: Segafredo premium blend coffee and fresh ingredients for their sweet and savoury treats. Real fruit is used in their cakes and muffins rather than fruit-flavoured essence. All the sweet treats are created daily in the cafe's kitchen: baklava, kourabiethes (shortbread), chocolate brownies, orange and almond cake, muffins, and more.

The espresso bar also provides a selection of salads and pastas for something more substantial: sweet potato and pumpkin salad, roast vegetable salad, and vegetable gnocchi to name a few.

Next time you're in the neighbourhood, stop by for a cuppa and complimentary almond meal biscuit. Or grab a bite to eat before taking a trek through Tarragindi's Toohey Forest.

Five Sisters Espresso Bar is located at shop 4, 11 Kuring-Gai Avenue. They're open from 6am to 4pm on weekdays and from 6am to 2pm on Saturdays.
