Exercising can be boring and a chore to some people. It's important to realize that you need to treat exercise like a game. Don't think of it as something you have to do, think of it as a fun game you're playing.

One: Go walking with a friend
Got a friend that wants to lose weight as well? Start up a walking team and commit to going walking together every second day. It'll be fun because you'll get to talk to each other, rather than be by yourself. You can also push each other to walk that extra bit further.

Two: Go to Zumba
Zumba is pretty much a big party. You go to the lesson and the instructor will show you the dance moves. Lose yourself with everyone else and dance for an hour. Zumba is the perfect exercise and a lot of fun for everyone.

Three: Jump rope
Bring out your inner child and buy a skipping rope. Listen to some music while jumping rope for 5-10 minutes a day. Build yourself up and try and go for 15-20 minutes. Jumping rope is a great exercise for the whole body, plus its fun. You can mix it up and jump on the trampoline with the skipping rope as well, however it won't give you the same results, but jumping will boost your cardio. Its a fun exercise to do, you can even encourage your children as well.

Four: Go shopping
Walking around a shopping centre actually burns a lot of calories. Think about how much you're walking and all the shops you go into. Don't be afraid to go that extra mile to that shop with the cute shoes next time you're at the shops. Great shopping centres to walk around are Fountain Gate, DFO, Chadstone, Southland and Knox City.

Five: Dance alone
Too shy to dance in front of an audience? Next time you're home alone, play a few great dancing songs out loud and start dancing. Even if you're the worst dancer, you'll get better over time. Dance with the music and really move your whole body. Don't glue your feet to the floor, move your whole body. It's the perfect exercise to workout your arms, thighs and belly. Great cardio workout.

Always remember to only do short exercise workouts if you are heavily obese, and work yourself up each week.

Consult a doctor before starting an exercise plan if you are obese.

Take a 1 minute rest if your heart rate goes up too high.

Take a cold bottle of water wherever you go to exercise. Drink as much as possible.

Bring a sweat towel with you, or keep one around if you're at home.

Add more time to your workouts each week, or as soon as you feel you can do more.

Don't do more than you think you can't. Obviously strive for your best and give it all you've got but if your body starts to ache or your chest feels heavy, take a breather. You can continue in half an hour or the next day.

Good luck with your exercising.
