Dramatically cascading from high sandstone rocks down into the bushland gullies below, Fitzroy Falls makes for a spectacular day out just under two hours' drive from Sydney.

Facilities include elevated walkways, a wheelchair-friendly visitors centre with viewing platform, an education room as well as a cafe, however if you want to bring your own food there are plenty of picnic tables, and of course plenty of scenic vantage points.

Whether it's a gentle stroll with the family or more challenging bushwalk you're after, there are plenty of walking options available with sign posts and information available on site.

If there's one thing rainy weather is good for, it's making your next trip to the waterfall all the more spectacular!

More details about how to enjoy Morton National Park can be found on its official website.
