Fitzroy Falls has it all
Fitzroy Falls is truly a must visit destination. It boasts a brilliant national park experience...With a magnificent waterfall plunging over eighty metres, to one of the most breathtaking valleys in the Southern Highlands, New South Wales, and the most spectacular lookout with the most thrilling bushwalking trails to conquer... Fitzroy Falls has it all.

The top view of the falls...

The lookout track is wheelchair-accessible. The track leads you alongside the creek and through the invigorating native bushland to the lookout at the top of the falls. The view is an absolute stunner where you are able to see the cliffs along the falls and out towards Kangaroo Valley.

One of the absolutely breathtaking views...

There are many other lookouts throughout Fitzroy Falls, which are certainly worth checking out. Once you reach the top of the falls there are a number of bushwalking trails along the escarpment which lead you to other amazing lookouts.

The main waterfall...

Lyrebirds, echidnas and an abundance of birdlife as well as other wildlife are amongst the other things to see here in addition to the magnificent waterfalls.

To truly experience the amazing bushland and waterfalls, a picnic by the creek is a must do or of course you can stretch those legs and grab a cuppa and a snack or two at the Falls Cafe. There are maps, interpretative displays, souvenirs, local craft, tours and annual Parks Passes available at the cafe.

Bottom of the main waterfall...

The walking paths are well maintained, with frequent easy stairways along with resting spots and signs with enlightening information on the magnificent fauna and flora.

The many different paths...

I must say getting to Fitzroy Falls was one of the most amazing drives I have done in the Southern Highlands... The fresh crisp air captivates you as you drive through winding mountain roads and through the breathtaking rainforests.
