Fishing is not only a great hobby for some, but it is also a way to relax and enjoy what nature has to offer. Fishing, however, also requires quite a bit of skill and the best way to perfect your angling is to take to the seas with an expert crew and have them share their secrets with you. Sydney is well known for its' beautiful scenery and sea, making it the perfect place to enjoy a day of fishing.
Southern Sydney Fishing Tours is run by expert fisherman Scott Lyons and includes both morning and afternoon trips, including Botany Bay fishing trips, Deep Sea fishing trips which take place south from the Port hacking River and Singles Day trips. Most of the tours are run in small groups, however the Singles Day trip offers one-on-one learning and is available on the last Saturday and Sunday of every month. Anglers can expect to find many varieties of fish including Snapper, Bonito, Trevally, Salmon and Flathead, as well as learn where the best fishing spots are in Sydney. Those attending are provided with bait and lures and can enjoy refreshments such as tea and coffee. Morning trips run from 6a.m. – 1p.m. and afternoon trips run from 3p.m. – 9p.m.
