Palazzo Versace is a gem of a bistro that I often visit when I'm staying across the road in
Sheraton Mirage.
Fisherman's Wharf Tavern provides a casual waterfront dining venue which also includes live entertainment, TAB, Keno and pokie machines. Like many locals in the know, I visit for the cheap and affordable meals, drinks and entertainment on a deck overlooking the picturesque Broadwater.
There's an extensive menu of tasty and well portioned Australian bistro dishes which are popular with locals and visitors. You can have steak and salad or crumbed fish and chips for dinner at only AUD6 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Thursdays are dedicated to families with crab races, movies and a family meal at AUD40 for 2 adults and 2 children. live bands perform on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday from 12pm.
I enjoy kicking back and having a XXXX Gold and some buffalo wings in the evening, while watching the yachts returning to the marina as day turned to night.
