Fish is an all singing, all dancing soap opera about fear. Watching the news in their suburban lounge room gives four ordinary people plenty to worry about. Meanwhile, in the halls of state, powerful people are worrying about what they look like. While the world trembles, are we expected to just go on working, playing, spending and dreaming? There's something fishy! You can smell it!
Written by the rollercoaster theatre ensemble, Fish is directed by Maude Davey and performed by trained actors with disabilities. Held at
The Melba Spiegeltent , 35 Johnston St, Collingwood, it runs from 31 August to 2 September 2017. Showtimes are 7pm Thursday to Saturday and 2pm Friday. Tickets are Full $25, Concession $15 and Groups of 5plus $20.
CLICK HERE to book. Get in quickly as 31 Aug is already sold out.
Rollercoaster Theatre Company is a not-for-profit ensemble of trained actors with disabilities from diverse backgrounds. The company was formed due to lack of opportunities for actors with disabilities in Melbourne. Together, they have been creating successful theatre since. Come along and cheer them on in their most ambitious project to date at the beautiful, atmospheric Spiegeltent.
Check the
website for more information and stay in touch via their

Wheelchair bookings can be made as a space can be cleared for patrons to stay in their chair. They're also happy to reserve a space next to it for any companions, friends and family who want to attend. Please fill out the form on their
Facebook event page for Fish , making note of the date and timeframe you're attending. Do note that the permanent booths in the Spiegeltent require stepping up one step to the seating, as you can see in the pic above.
