Located on Elizabeth Street Pier,
Fish Frenzy has been serving fresh seafood in a cone for many years and they are definitely worth a try. The restaurant overlooks the marina, docks and working port providing a picturesque backdrop for your meal.
Their menu includes fish, scallops, calamari, prawns, oysters and octopus. With so much on offer, it was hard to decide but I finally went for the traditional fish and chips. My cone contained three mixed fish pieces all nicely crumbed. However, tempura and beer batter are available too. And, you can choose to have just the flake, flathead or blue eye trevalla if you prefer.
My lunch was topped off with friendly and efficient service. The food came out pretty fast, so there's no need to phone in to order beforehand. I will be dining there again on my next visit to Hobart.
