Taking time off from reality and going on a much-needed holiday is something we all look forward to. However, for people with furbabies like me, there always seems to one thing holding us back - what are our pooches going to do while we're away? Who's going to look after them? Who can I trust to look after them?



Do a quick Google search, and you will find a seemingly endless list of businesses who offer pet sitting services. It'd take you hours to sift through all of their websites to find one that's perfect. You know you only want the best for your pet, so it makes sense to opt for the one that provides services at the first class level - . 1. Pet Sitting (in your home)
After a free initial interview/meet and greet, will visit your house while you're away to feed your pets, clean their bowls, replenish them with fresh water, brush coats, pick up and dispose of waste, and all other standard pet care duties. They will also go the extra mile and help you with household duties, such as plant watering, mail collection, and taking rubbish bins in and out.

Single Pet Sitting Visit - $27 per 40 minutes
Double Pet Sitting Visit (twice a day; morning and night) - $54
Additional Pets - $7 for 1 extra pet, $3 for extra pets after that (up to 4), free feeding for small animals (e.g. birds and fish)

2. Dog Walking
Again, after an free initial interview/meet and greet in which 's dedicated staff will learn your daily routine to make your pooch as comfortable as possible. All staff are experienced in walking dogs of all sizes and breeds, and have adopted strategies of respected dog psychologists - most importantly, your dog's safety is always their number one priority. For example, unless given explicit permission by the owner, staff will not let your dogs interact with other canines, and some clients draw a map of houses to avoid while out on a walk - this information can be gathered at the initial meeting.

%%Costs for Dog Walking are as follows:
Costs depend on whether you are casual (6 or less visits per week) or regular (7 or more visits per week), and length of the walk - $30 to $45 for casuals, and $28 to $43 for regulars. For those who want their dogs walked for longer than an hour, it will cost an extra $15 per additional 30 minutes.
** Feeding pets and cleaning bowls - $5
*** There is a 25% surcharge on public holidays.


3. Day Stays (in your home)%%

$120 for 5 hours over the course of the day, after a complimentary initial interview/meet and greet.
** Additional Pets - $7 for 1 extra pet, $3 for extra pets after that (up to 4).

4. Overnight Stays (in your home)

$70 per night, after a complimentary initial interview/meet and greet.

5. Wedding Assistants
A Pet Wedding Assistant will attend the wedding with your furbaby - you've got one less thing to worry about, because your canine or feline companion now has a date! If your wedding location isn't quite in the Brisbane location, don't fret because First Class Pet Wedding Assistants are willing to travel up to 2 hours from Brisbane - including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba. First Class Pet Wedding Assistants will also ensure that your pet will be dressed to the nines for the once in a lifetime event, with clothing options including tuxedos, bow ties, handmade flower collars, flower girl dresses, in addition to ring pillows, ring pockets, and 'Just Married' plaques. Just imagine how good they'll look in the photos. Plus, they'll smell nice and fresh too, with the option of a hydro-bath appointment prior to the wedding.

%%Costs for Wedding Assistants are as follows:
Rehearsals and preparation: $50 per hour
Wedding day: $80 per hour (minimum of 4 hours, extra dog $40)
** Complimentary picture/video updates from your pooch's perspective.

6. Funeral Assistants
There are many touching stories of dogs mourning for and staying loyal towards their owners long after they are gone. Think about Hachiko , the Akita dog in Japan who waited 9 years for his owner after his owner's death. Or think about Greyfriars Bobby the Syke Terrier in Scotland, who spent 14 years guarding the grave of his owner until his own death. Although it is by no means an easy day, will attend the funeral with your furbaby, ensure your pooch is feeling safe and comfortable, and of course remain professional at all times.

Rehearsals and preparation: $50 per hour
Funeral day: $70 per hour (minimum of 2 hours)

7. Pet Taxi
After a complimentary initial meet and greet, will chauffeur your pooches (and their owners, if necessary) directly to and from the requested destination - only the best for these lucky pups!

%%Costs for Pet Taxi are as follows:
Basic rate of $25, plus $1 per km travelled.



Note: For all of the above services, strongly recommends leaving a key on file if you are a regular client, in addition to secure key registration.
