As of Monday 16 March, the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee is placing limits on organised gatherings which include limiting non-essential organised gatherings to fewer than 500 people. These limits do not apply to workplaces, schools, universities, shops, supermarkets, public transport or airports.
Due to these measures, Council has cancelled the following upcoming events:

Chile Mojo is South Australia's premier source for the hard-to-find necessities of great Mexican food. Home to authentic Mexican chiles and spices, genuine corn masa and other staples of the Latin-American larder. Plus their custom blended seasonings and pre-mixes make 'doing it from scratch' easy.
Hillside Herbs and Succulents is a family-run nursery in McLaren Vale. Steve manages the succulents and Lorraine takes care of the chillis and herbs.
Whites Valley Jalapeņos is a South Australian family artisan business that makes chilli sauces, chilli jams, chilli rubs, chilli mustard, chilli paste, chilli relish and chilli pickles.
Spice Girlz is family owned and renown nationally for their delicious foods. Condiments, dukkah and oils are gluten-free and vegan-friendly, and contain only natural preservatives.
Matchett Productions & Big Sissy Foods is the vehicle for South Australian based foodie Vicki Matchett to showcase her many talents, including a full range of chilli-based condiments such as 'Chilli Jam' and the ever-popular 'Chilli Fire'.
Grunds Gourmet's delicious products are sought after throughout Australia. Packed full of flavour the recipes have been refined over decades to arrive at a product with a unique flavour that is typically 'Grunds'. Their line of condiments are preservative-free, all but two are gluten-free & they are vegan-friendly.
Bali In A Jar's founder, Desak Yoni's mission is to create a unique range of sauces that bring to mind nostalgic memories of Bali (or perhaps to excite the mind of the possibility of memories to be gained in a future visit!), allowing the preparation of great meals with unforgettably exotic aromas and tastes.
Hallsy's Chilli Jam is made by S.A.'s self-confessed 'Chilli Freak' turned gourmet Chilli Jam and Beef Jerky maker Luke Halls. Roseworthy CFS and Brooklyn Park MFS will be attending with their Fire Trucks to help extinguish the 'Chilli fire'. Children will be able to explore the vehicles and equipment and speak with the people that have been working hard to protect lives and properties over the summer.
Plan the ultimate family day out at Fire & Spice Festival 2020! Relax and unwind, eat and drink, do a bit of taste testing, learn some spice cooking techniques and find out about propagating herbs and spices. There will be plenty for the kids to do, both indoors and out!
