Redcliffe City Art Gallery will host an informative and stimulating Panel Discussion with
Internationally renowned Artist, Fiona Foley on Saturday 26th April 2014.
Panel members Fiona Foley, anthropologist and curator Michael Aird, Dr Sandra Phillips and others will discuss the role that historical research has played in the creation of contemporary Aboriginal Art. The panel will be moderated by writer Louise Martin-Chew.
Please join Redcliffe City Art Gallery and share in this wonderful opportunity to hear directly from one of the most prolific and challenging artists in Australia today.

Exhibition: Fiona Foley - Courage
Courage is part of a Moreton Bay Regional Art Collection in perspective exhibition celebrating Fiona Foley's career.
Fiona Foley's diverse artistic practice includes painting, sculpture, installation, photography, works on paper, printmaking and video.
You may like to take time after the panel discussion to view her current exhibition entitled
Courage, which is also showing at the Redcliffe City Art Gallery until May 10.
Works of art in this exhibition examine the diversity and depth of Fiona's art practice and feature significant works from collections across the state.
