Looking for a place to have a family BBQ or a quiet spot just to sit and relax? Finnan Park, on the banks of Grahamstown, Dam is just the place.

At Finnan Park you can find covered wood fired BBQ's, plenty of play area, and public toilets. For the youngsters there is a playground with kid safe play equipment.

Almost any weekend you will find family groups, clubs or young couples just getting away from the hustle and bustle to relax in this serene picnic spot.

[ADVERT]The outlook over the spectacular Grahamstown Dam is so relaxing, you will forget the time and just drift through the day.

Only minutes from Raymond Terrace, you can pick up any of those forgotten supplies. Finnan Park makes a great stop off for a quick break for those traveling through to Nelson Bay.

Even better, Finnan Park is less than 10 minutes away from Newcastle Airport. If you have a stop over at Williamtown, why not catch a cab to Finnan Park and catch up on those emails or phone messages?

Not recommended for kids as there have been numerous unwanted approaches to kids at this park. The council has even placed a sign up warning parents not to let their kids use the toilet alone.
