A hugely popular showcase of emerging and celebrated Western Australian artistic talent, this year's exciting exhibition kicks off with a Cocktail Preview opening night on Friday 27th July 2018.
Come along and enjoy drinks and canapés amongst the stunning array of paintings, glass, jewellery, sculpture and ceramics. The exhibition will be opened by Guest Speaker Ross Wallman, Radio Presenter on Nova 93.7, Old Haleian and Muscular Dystrophy WA advocate.
Participating artists will be in the running for a number of awards over the weekend with the Fine Art committee again sponsoring the lucrative Best Artwork Award of $4000 and the Best Emerging Artist Award of $1000. The popular People's Choice Award will return again this year and is sponsored by MindLink Psychology.
There are also more dazzling prizes to be won in the Luxe Raffle this year, including jewellery from Keiko Uno, a case of Leeuwin Estate 'Art Series' wine, a glass vase by exhibiting artist Anne Sorensen and jewellery from Cynthia Poh. To go into the draw, purchase a $5 raffle ticket in Memorial Hall from 24th to 29th July 2018.
All proceeds from the art exhibition are channelled directly back into art at Hale School via funding of an art scholarship for a Year 12 student, a monetary art prize for an additional student, as well as financial contributions towards artistic enrichment projects at the school.
Tickets to the Cocktail Preview on Friday 27th July 2018, 6.30pm to 9.00pm are priced $50 each and include drinks and canapés. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here.
