The Charity Screening of Finding Your Feet Benefits the Environmental Defenders Office
Finding Your Feet is a newly released romantic comedy-drama film starring Timothy Spall, Joanna Lumley, and Imelda Staunton. Filmed in the United Kingdom, Finding Your Feet is a hilarious and heartwarming comedy proving it's never too late to start again. It's being released in Australia in February 2018.
The Capri Theatre at Goodwood is holding a special charity screening of Finding Your Feet on Tuesday February 27 to support the Environmental Defenders Office, a not-for-profit community legal service in Adelaide. The screening starts at 6.30pm, but you're encouraged to come from 5.30pm to enjoy free nibbles and a cash bar, catch up with friends and support the Environmental Defenders Office (EDO).

The EDO is a community legal service which receives no funding from government and is dependent on community support. In recent years, the environment has been increasingly under attack from governments, mining companies and multinational organisations that do not care about their environmental footprint.
The EDO use their legal expertise to protect our environment. They give you legal advice, go to court to protect habitat, and defend your rights to a clean environment. They fight to improve the law when it isn't working to protect our communities and our environment. They aim to educate the public and help you to understand the laws in South Australia and how you can use them to protect our environment.
Help the Environment - Come to the Capri Theatre Charity Screening
When the government worked to change planning laws to remove effective community consultation, and to water down local heritage protection, the Environmental Defenders Office worked with the National Trust and Community Alliance for better outcomes. This community legal service also provides support to many environmental organisations including Conservation SA, the Wilderness Society, and the Friends of Glenthorne.
Why not come along with a few friends and enjoy Finding Your Feet at the Art Deco heritage listed Capri Theatre? You will be helping a very good cause, and helping to make the environment in South Australia better for all of us.
Find out more about the charity screening of Finding Your Feet at the EDO website, where you can purchase your tickets online.
