🌳 What is nature therapy?
As most of us know, spending time outdoors in nature has many benefits for our mental, physical and social wellbeing. But, according to those in the know, spending time in nature
mindfully or in the practice of nature/forest therapy, can increase these benefits in participants, helping to develop a stronger relationship with nature, sometimes referred to as a '
connection to country'. While enhancing individual health and resiliency, this quality of nature connection can also support intrinsic pro-environmental behaviours.

Drawing on the principles of nature therapy also known as forest bathing, the
Finding Presence in Nature sessions encourage participants to explore, helping to relax the body and connect with nature. Activities will include grounding in present awareness, wanders through the gardens, an opportunity to interact with other participants as well as small adventures in creativity.
