The bi-annual Finders Keepers Market is coming up very soon on Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th of December.
The markets provide the perfect opportunity for you to look for some unique Christmas gifts and simultaneously support local artists and designers.
The Finders Keepers Markets which are held twice a year (as "bi-annual" implies) strive to support local and emerging artists and designers by providing them with an avenue to showcase their work. Finders Keepers first began in 2008 and feature locally produced handmade indie products.
The markets are being held at CarriageWorks in Eveleigh over two days and attempt to generate a "festival-type feel". Emerging musicians will also be present entertaining shoppers with live music.
A bar and a cafe will be open to contribute to the festival-like atmosphere.
Entry to the event is free and apparently getting accepted as a stallholder is extremely tough, so expect only high quality and uber trendy products. The products include fashion, jewellery, accessories, homewares, stationery and art. You can find the full line up of stallholders here.
The markets are open from 6pm til 10pm on Friday the 3rd and from 10am til 5pm on the 4th at CarriageWorks, 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh.
