Find the history of your house by using library resources. To celebrate Australian Heritage Month this May, Rockhampton Regional Libraries (Southside) , on 230 Bolsover Street, Rockhampton, will host a FREE community event where you can find out the tales your home holds within its walls.

The event that will be held at Fitzroy Room, Southside Library, on Tuesday, 14 May and Saturday, 18 May 2024, starting from 9.30 am to 10.30 am (for both days), will allow you to learn how to uncover the rich history of your house and reveal the secrets of those who lived there in years gone by. Discover how History Centre resources such as vintage photographs, Council rates books, newspapers, government archives and family histories can be pieced together like a puzzle.
