Australian Teachers of Media Award-winning has a range of half, full and multi-day workshops and courses to get your child away from the screen and into creating screen art themselves!Workshops are offered for ages 6 to 16 years, for complete beginners and for those who want to extend their skills.Enrolment is now open for the January 2017 Holiday Workshop Program and upcoming 2017 courses in Malaga, Carramar, Bull Creek, Hamilton Hill and Baldivis.There are a wide range of interactive workshops to choose from, including acting, gaming, improv and filmmaking.All workshops are held in the Filmbites HQ and studio in Malaga (unless stated otherwise) and presented in a fun, collaborative and encouraging environment.The January 2017 Holiday Workshop Program consists of:Intro to Gaming (Alternative Needs – Autism)This workshop is for young people with autism who enjoy computers and would like to learn how to make computer games.Thurs 12 Jan – 10am to 2pm – Ages 11-15yrs - Max of 4 participants - $115 - Click here to book.[BREAK]Intro to Screen ActingThis workshop focuses on identifying and expressing emotion and achieving naturalism in performance through fun exercises and activities.5-8 yr olds – 10am to 12noon – Tues 17 Jan – Max 10 participants - $33 - Click here to book.8-12 yr olds – 10am to 3pm – Wed 11 Jan – Max 12 participants - $75 - Click here to book (all participants on this day will receive a bonus "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" pass to see the new animated film Ballerina, opening 12 January.8-12 yr olds – 10am to 3pm – Thurs 19 Jan – Max 12 participants - $75 - Click here to book.

This is Filmbites most popular holiday workshop, where young gamers get to indulge all-things-game, learn how to make 3 different types of games, plus talk about their favourite subject (yep, games!).
