FilmFest Tours presents the ultimate VIP passport to Tasmania's innovative Breath of Fresh Air (BOFA) Film Festival in Launceston, delivering the perfect mashup of beautiful cinema and mouth-watering food.

Behind The Bubbles Tour
Wednesday 4th and Sunday 8th November, 11.30am – 5.50pm. (Tours leave from Inveresk)
Nothing goes together quite like a VIP film festival experience and sparkling wine. Led by Tony Walker, author of Vintage Tasmania, The complete book of Tasmanian Wine, the Behind The Bubbles tour will take you to three acclaimed sparkling wine tastings (Apogee, Jansz and House of Arras), plus a Tasmanian seafood lunch at Piper's Brook accompanied by a wine tasting with Rene Bezemer.

Red Carpet Film and After Party
Thursday 5th Nov, 7.30pm
Join FilmFest for the official BOFA Red Carpet film and after party. See the highly acclaimed 'Death or Liberty' and then attend the official BOFA 2015 after party – one of Launceston's major calendar events of the year!

Mud Bar and Restaurant
Friday 6th Nov, 5.00pm-7.00pm (Mud Bar & Restaurant is within walking distance of the Inveresk Precinct)

The iconic Mud Bar and Restaurant located at the Launceston Seaport will play host to this exclusive pre-screening cocktail and canape event. Highly-regarded Tasmanian writer/director Roger Scholes, whose feature film The Tale of Ruby Rose is part of the BOFA screening program, will run this unmissable evening function.

Taste of the Tamar Valley
Saturday 7 November, 11.00am – 3.30pm. (Tour leaves from Inveresk)
Based in the heart of the Tamar Valley, Goaty Hill Wines has joined with Casa Paella and a range of local producers to offer a series of onsite cooking classes. Geared towards seasonality, local ingredients and great food and wine, the classes aim to showcase the best of the Tasmanian region. Hear from chef Edrick Corban-Banks as he demonstrates and shares his experience and knowledge of cooking authentic Valencian Paella. Understand the seasonal workings of the Goaty Hill vineyard with a personal vineyard tour followed by a wine tasting with Goaty Hill owner, Natasha Nieuwhof.

The Barrel Room, Velo Wines
Saturday 7th Nov, 12.00pm to 2.00pm (Coach transport included, departing from Inveresk precinct at 11.45am)

Hosted by BOFA Festival Director Owen Tilbury, enjoy a superb selection of Tasmania's finest produce (including oysters, salmon, beef, quail and cheese) accompanied by sparkling rose on arrival at the Barrel Room at Velo Wines.

BOFA Devil Awards
Saturday 7th Nov, 5.30pm
BOFA 2015 celebrates and acknowledges the highly creative Tasmanian and Australian screen industry with the BOFA Devil awards. Join the festival directors, local and guest filmmakers and screen industry professionals in celebration of filmmaker achievements across four major awards. Drinks and canapes will be provided at this event which is exclusive to the film industry and BOFA tourists.

Stillwater Restaurant
Sunday 8th Nov, 10.00am -11.45am
Those interested in the film industry can join filmmakers Claude Gonzalez, Jamie Oxenbould and Tamara Popper for a pre-screening brunch at Stillwater Restaurant. The filmmakers behind 12 Steps (screening in competition BOFA 2015) will take you through the filmmaking process with anecdotes from story ideas, scripting, financing, casting, pre-production, rehearsals, shooting, post-production and marketing.
