It is a shame dance does not always exist as widely as it could away from the city. But thanks to the efforts of The Fifth Corner Dance Company, the opportunity to dance a number of styles at Warburton, Healesville, and Yellingbo has become possible. Rock 'n' Roll classes will resume in Yellingbo for February 2014 and then move to the Yarraburn Centre at Yarra Junction.

Corrie Wade started figure skating and speed skating at the age of seven, followed by undertaking the martial art of Aikido at thirteen. After university he undertook a dance apprenticeship, followed by travelling and dancing around the world. He has taught and trained in Australia, Cuba, Argentina, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, England, Ireland, Scotland, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan during the last ten years. In addition, he has travelled to Cuba, Europe and Italy to study piano and percussion since music is " the fuel of dance".
Martina started ballroom dancing after finishing school, which produced a desire to learn more. Born in Austria she came to Australia and met Corrie in classes in 2011, and they are now partners. Her dancing has progressed quickly, having attended several congresses and festivals in the last few years, including the Vienna Salsa Congress in Austria. She has danced Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata, Rock 'n' Roll, Pachanga, Milonga, and Tango. She has aspirations to learn more styles, and teach with Corrie.
Together they teach the basics, and techniques required to dance styles the way they should be danced. With effective methods in a fun and friendly atmosphere, building dance skills to very high standards. Surely they are a force to be reckoned with, and bringing it all to the Yarra Valley. To dance is divine!
