Watch every game live
It's only a matter of days until the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil. Unfortunately being there in person is not a reality for most of us but we can still see every game live. There's a number of options available including television with our nearest and dearest or at designated, licensed venues.

SBS is the official World Cup channel and most games will be broadcast live. Whether you're inviting your mates around or snuggling up with the kids, staying at home definitely has its advantages MYO snacks, no queues for the loo and no issues with driving home after a few drinks.

If you're after the stadium atmosphere then joining dozens, or even hundreds of World Cup fans at a social venue is the way to go.

Sporty's Bar and Arena at the Arkaba Hotel, 150 Glen Osmond Road, Fullerton

Voted the AHA Best Sports Entertainment Venue in 2013, Sporty's are broadcasting all the Socceroos games and 12 other fixtures plus the finals. Great drink and snack specials will also be available to keep you cheering on your favourite teams in the early hours.

Pig 'n Whistle, 123 Eagle Street, Riverside Centre

With sponsors Budweiser, the Riverside Pig 'n Whistle is being transformed into the ultimate one-stop venue for all the World Cup action. Not only is every game being shown live but the team at Pig 'n Whistle is also running related events such as the World Cup Trivia Night on Sunday 8 June.

It should be noted that due to Queensland liquor licencing and lockout conditions you will need to be inside the venue before 3am for early morning matches.

The Live Wire bar at Treasury Casino, 130 William St, Brisbane 4000, is also broadcasting the games live.

Melbourne fans are spoilt for choice, with numerous venues and hotels offering the games live on big screens.

Docklands Waterfront City Piazza, Docklands Drive, Melbourne Docklands

Village Cinemas
With tickets from $10 you'll really get the arena feel watching the games on a big cinema screen. You can even book a private cinema, either standard or Gold Class.

The GG Army venue in Perth is The Elephant and Wheelbarrow, 55 Lake Street, Northbridge

Also the official fan pub of the Perth Glory you can be sure they'll make all Socceroos fans very welcome and international visitors of course.

Check out the Northbridge Piazza too as there are rumours at least some of the games will be shown live.

Star City, Sydney Hyundai Fan Park, 80 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont

The Star is transforming their Event Centre into the ultimate fan base with the Socceroos group games and the finals screened live. The 24/7 Sports Bar meanwhile is broadcasting all the games.

Your Comment
Went to the Fan Park at The Star this morning - it was great - packed and loud (and about 50-50 Chileans and Aussies, so really good atmosphere)
