The in the Sutherland Shire , in Sydney's South, is a celebration of the different cultures, flavours and people that make up our nation here in Australia. Showcasing cultural diversity through dance, music, art making and food, in order to promote understanding and awareness of Australia's varied cultures and creating a fun event for the whole family.

This year the Fiesta is being moved to a new location and date to take advantage of the beautiful Spring weather and stunning vistas of North Cronulla.

The Fiesta is a popular community event showcasing cultural diversity through international dance and music, traditional crafts and, of course, food from all corners of the globe.

Dunningham Park sits right on the beach fringed by Northies pub and a mixture of cafes and restaurants as well as beautiful North Cronulla Beach. There is a large playground for the kids to play on and lots of stalls and entertainment offering international food and handicrafts for Mum and Dad. The beach is only steps away for a quick sandcastle break or a brisk swim for those who don't mind Spring sea water temperatures.

A feature of this year's Fiesta is sure to be the Seven Days 2011 Cronulla Photographic Exhibition . There is still time to enter and it is free. The winners and finalists from this unique community photographic competition will be on display with the theme being "Capture the essence of what living in the Sutherland Shire means to you".

The Fiesta aims to increase understanding and awareness of Australia's varied cultures and to celebrate our differences while promoting harmony in our community.

Free parking is available along the beach but it will be popular and will fill up fast.
Cronulla railway station is an easy 15 minute walk away. You just need to cross the road and walk through the Cronulla Mall, then down the hill towards the ocean.
