‎1.‎ The Big Island Festival ‎
When: 7 May 2016: 10am-2pm ‎
Where: Centenary Square, Church St, Parramatta ‎
Cost: Free ‎
Details: This fun family-friendly event is a multicultural Festival that will support the Pacific ‎Island nations as they battle it out in the NRL Pacific Test double header. The event will also ‎include entertainment, live music, traditional and contemporary performances, market ‎stalls, kid's workshops & activities, face painting, jumping castle, and more. 2.‎ The Western Sydney Mother's Day Classic ‎

Details: This family-friendly event is a perfect event to get the kids out and explore nature. ‎The event is aiming to increase biodiversity and improve habitat for local wildlife by ‎planting over 7,000 trees, shrubs and groundcovers along the creekline. The link to anywhere festival didn't work so I looked it up and this was a festival on last year (2015) and this year it looks like it's only held in Brisbane.
