The annual Festival of the Trees returns to St Barbe Grove Nursery in Hazelmere on Saturday 17th September 2016.Come along with the whole family from 10am and enjoy live talks and demonstrations, lots of exhibitors, and vendors and activities and entertainment for all ages.St Barbe Grove Nursery is sure to be abuzz with activity all day long! Get the morning off to a great start by enjoying a relaxing and FREE yoga session in the forest, followed by a stop at Bolt Café for delicious coffee and cake, and live music.You can then join a tour through the St Barbe Nursery and browse the wide selection of discounted native plant on sale, including trees, shrubs, grasses and climbers. Expert nursery volunteers will be on hand to offer helpful advice on watering and planting.The local arts and crafts market will also have lots of stalls to peruse, plus there will be short & practical sustainability talks, on topics including keeping bees, and household waste. A FREE planting activity will be on offer and the kids can have fun with FREE face painting, interactive activities, fairy fun and much more!Operating since 1979, St Barbe Grove Nursery is one of only a handful of not-for-profit nurseries in Western Australia. Since its founding, it has planted more than 13 million seedlings and is nationally recognised for its contribution in promoting awareness of the benefits of trees to our environment and to our lives.Don't miss this family fun day this Spring!
