The Imperial Russian Ballet presents 'Festival of Russian Ballet' playing at Her Majesty's Theatre from Thursday 26th October until Saturday 28th October at 7:30pm. Following their sell-out performances in 2016 of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, The Imperial Russian Ballet Company returned with this amazing three act ballet.
Festival of Russian Ballet' is performed in three acts, The Act One – Don Quixote is performed in 60 minutes and is a flamboyant and festive ballet. Act Two – Bolero goes for 20 minutes and is a striking and dramatic ballet.
Act Three is presented in 45 minutes and represents highlights from the world's great ballets including Light Cavalry - 3 minutes 30 seconds, Russian Dance from Swan Lake – 5 minutes, Le Corsaire (pas de deux) – 8 minutes, Jazz Suite – 4 minutes, Dying Swan – 4 minutes, Runaway – 4 minutes, Gopak (Taras Bulba) – 1 minute 10 seconds, Giselle – 9 minutes 20 seconds and Can Can Surprize – 6 minutes.
