This could be how the West was won or at least how people are won over to the West.

Nothing like a free festival of foodies for drawing people over the West Gate Bridge to the new expansion of Werribee Plaza, now to be known by the upmarket name of Pacific Werribee.

This is the $370m makeover that the area needed to have. It will transform the centre into the West's largest entertainment and dining complex with 15 restaurants and a 10 screen Village Cinema with two Gold Class cinemas to boot. Read a review of the new Gold Class here.

In order to celebrate the launch of its brand new restaurant precinct there is this delicious festival coming up.

This is to showcase Urban Diner or stage one of Pacific Werribee's new landmark

The festival will take you on a tasty trail through the exciting flavours of Urban Diner, with tasting carts from its restaurants including Pancake Parlour, Nandos, Grill'd, The Groove Train, The Sporting Globe, La Porchetta, , Ba'get, Spud Bar, Schnitz, and Rice Workshop. To top it off they'll be a few surprise AFL players serving new dishes to locals

As well as sampling and special offers available over the four day festival, there will be loads of family fun with roving entertainment, acoustic music, competitions, kids baking activities and appearances from special characters.

Festivities will also continue after dark, with street theatre, a DJ and outdoor fire displays taking place each evening.

Everything really ramps up on Friday night, with the ABC's Hoot & Hootabelle performing their live show for youngsters.

After that comes the The Robbie Williams Experience Show and 100% Kylie Show . The duo will perform "Let Us Entertain You" together.

Friday night's jam-packed program will culminates with a spectacular *fireworks display at 8pm.

A fitting backdrop for these exciting new buildings.
